Nemia L. Schulte, PA, who has provided legal services for Rattana Group over the past decade, has conducted her own law practice in Pompano Beach, Fla., since 1997. She specializes in real estate and corporate law in the greater Pompano Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade areas. Her work includes civil litigation, quiet title actions, landlord-tenant law, and estate or probate issues, and she is a sole practitioner, handling all her cases personally.

Schulte received her Juris Doctorate degree from the Georgetown University Law Center, and her bachelor’s degree from University of California, Santa Barbara, where she majored in Political Science and International Relations. After serving as an associate in California and Chicago law firms, she passed the Florida bar exam in 1997 and set up her own practice.

She is admitted to practice in U.S. District Court in Florida, California and Illinois, and also in several Federal Court of Appeals Circuit Courts.

In addition to serving as a board member and officer in several Florida legal organizations, Schulte has served as a traffic court hearing officer and certified arbitrator for Broward County, and has chaired the Florida Bar Grievance Committee. 

Schulte is married with five children, and has served as president of the Pompano Piranhas Swim Team and the Pompano Beach Junior Lifeguard Association.

Marc J. Kesten, an experienced attorney licensed to practice law in both California and Florida, has joined Rattana Group to assist with legal work on real estate matters in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale area. 

From 2014 to 2020, he served as General Counsel for Bang Energy, formerly known as Vital Pharmaceuticals Inc. During his tenure, he was integral in helping make Bang Energy the third-largest energy drink manufacturer in the U.S. and South Florida’s fastest-growing  company (over $25 million), with revenues soaring from $77.7M in 2017 to $625M in 2019. Kester also served from 1997 to 2005 as General and Intellectual Property Counsel to Aurafi, LLC (now known as Richline Group), a Berkshire Hathaway Company and the nation’s largest manufacturer and distributor of gold jewelry and other luxury consumer products. 

Kester currently owns and manages Marc J. Kesten, P.L., with offices in Parkland, Fla., and Irvine, Calif. In addition to real estate purchase and lease agreements,his practice handles commercial and intellectual property transactional and litigation-related matters, including providing brand protection strategies on a worldwide basis, prosecuting trademark and copyright applications, and negotiating and drafting trademark and personality-driven licensing deals. His work also includesnegotiating and drafting numerous types of agreements, including consumer product licensing, patent, trademark, and copyright licensing; and distribution, confidentiality-nondisclosure, and employment agreements. 

He is a graduate of the Benjamin Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University in New York City, and earned his bachelor’s degree at Binghamton (N.Y.) University.
